Fire-hit school reopens

A KENT school reopened today after it was extensively damaged by fire in the early hours of yesterday morning.

About 80 firefighters tacked the flames at the height of fire at the Hugh Christie Technology College in Tonbridge. The blaze was started by arsonists.

The fire badly damaged the lower corridor in the administration block. A mini bus was also destroyed in a separate fire in the school grounds.

Police have begun an investigation into the blaze. No one was injured.
