Latest Sittingbourne figures reveal Rapid Plant and Tool Hire among businesses targeted by burglars

Rapid Plant and Tool Hire is the latest victim of a spate of burglaries across the area.

Three men were seen attempting to break-in to an outbuilding at the premises in Vicarage Road, Milton Regis, at 11.35pm on Sunday. Crime reference: XY/010573/14.

During the past 16 months the News Extra has been made aware of more than 560 incidents. The latest ones are:

Power tools were stolen from a property in Munsgore Lane, Borden, between 1pm and 3pm on Tuesday, March 18. XY/010030/14.

A red quad bike was stolen from stables at Crosier Court, Upchurch, overnight between March 19-20. XY/010085/14.

A back door was damaged during a burglary just after midnight on March 20 in Eastwood Road, Sittingbourne. XY/010062/14.

At 3.25am on March 23, a hairdressing salon in High Street, Newington, was burgled. XY/010582/14.

There was an attempted burglary in Vaughan Drive, Kemsley, between March 22-23. XY/010583/14.

A home in Bourne Grove, Sittingbourne, was burgled between March 21-23. XY/010562/14.

Sometime between 4pm and 10pm, on March 22, a burglary occurred in Middletune Avenue, Milton Regis. XY/010436/14.

Between March 22-23, two bicycles were stolen from a garden shed in Milbourne Grove, Milton Regis. XY/010531/14.

Fishing tackle and an air-rifle were stolen from a garage in Glovers Crescent, Bell Road, Sittingbourne, between 1am and 6am on March 23. XY/010467/14.

A householder disturbed three males rummaging through his garage in Glovers Crescent, Bell Road, Sittingbourne, just after 1am on March 23. XY/010552/14; XY/10467/14.
