Medway Area Sunday League round-up (12/12/21)

Bredhurst Juniors United beat Kent Marina Gunners 3-1 with goals from Luqmaan Sheikh, Luke Dillalo and Jayke Phillips.

Joseph White and Will Crump scored for London Road as they defeated Medway Sport XI 2-1, Aaron Lorentson netting in reply.

Adam Wallington’s goal was not enough for Tunbury Athletic as they were shaded 2-1 by Milton & Fulston Zebras, who had Ronny Whittaker and Chris Soper to thanks for their victory.

Leaders Real 60 sit seven points clear at the top of Division 3 following a 5-0 win over bottom side Your Move Chatham courtesy of Kye Osborne (3) and Blake Cavender (2).

Pentagon Reserves are in second, and with two games in hand, as they defeated Rainham Eagles 3-1. Bradley Killick, James Brightwell and an own goal ensured the points for Pentagon, Cy Boorman replying.

Neal Parkes, Niall Cullen, Shea Cullen, Chun Sing Yuen and Harry Tyler all found the back of the net for The Walnut Tree in their 5-1 win over Cantium, who replied through Dylan Lockyer.

Medway Invicta had Michael Hurcomb (2), Victor Okunowo and Kae Forder to thank for their 5-4 victory over FC Catalans.

Kent Marina 19 were thrashed 11-0 by Cliffe Woods Colts Reserves, Ainsley Linton (4), Michael Mason (4), Nye Griffiths, Ashley Trigg and Eddie Pattenden were on the scoresheet.

High Halstow are just one point off the top of Division 1 after their 8-1 victory at Cross Park. Jez Hammond (3), Matt Gillen, Jamie Keefe, Sam Crayford, Luqman (2) were all on target.

Grant Laker (2) and Declan Cook saw Rochester through to the next round of the Junior Charity Cup with a 3-1 victory over New Brompton 1893, for whom Paul High netted.

In the Junior Charity Trophy, Rochester Eagles lost 8-1 to Bredhurst with Charlie Hetterley (4), Joshua Robinson (2), Anil Heer, Steve Hedges on the scoresheet.
