Josh Gowling will miss the next two matches after picking up his 10th caution of the season on Saturday against Carlisle.

Manager Mark Stimson felt the booking by Jarnail Singh was a harsh one for Gowling (pictured) and must now decide who takes over in central defence.

"I thought he was unfortunate with his booking because there didn’t look anything in it," said Stimson.

"He’s going to be a big loss but hopefully someone can step in and do us a job."

Mark Bentley is likely to drop back in defence, despite impressing this season in his natural right-wing position.

Garry Richards, who has been out with injury for several weeks, could be back in contention while Stimson may recall Tom Wynter from his loan spell with Dover.

"Tom is a centre-half and maybe we’ll have to recall him now with Josh missing for two games," said Stimson.

"If we have to call back Tom we will do. We will have to look at it on Tuesday and see who is fit and well and available.

"Garry Richards started running on Friday and he possibly could be back training with the group."
