Gravesend: Saleh Arafa wanted in connection with Harmer Street hit-and-run

A teenager believed to have been involved in a hit-and-run which left a pensioner with serious injuries is being hunted by police.

Saleh Arafa, 19, is wanted in connection with a serious collision in Harmer Street, Gravesend, on August 23 last year and has now been added to Kent Police's most-wanted list.

He previously lived in Edwin Street.

A woman, in her 70s, was taken to a London hospital after being knocked down by a red Hyundai which came to a stop at the zebra crossing by the junction near The Terrace.

At the time an eye witness reported three people had fled the car on foot.
