Cyclist taken to Darent Valley Hospital after being hit by car and trailer on Main Road, Longfield

A cyclist was taken to hospital after being knocked off his bike by a car and animal trailer in a suspected hit and run.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a black 4x4 pulling a livestock trailer failed to stop at the scene of the accident in New Barn Road, Longfield just after 10am yesterday (May 2).

Police and paramedics attended the accident where the cyclist was treated for cuts and bruises before being taken to Darent Valley Hosptial in Dartford.
