Traffic was moving very slowly on the M25 clockwise due to an accident earlier today.
The accident happened near the entry slip road of the junction 1A.
For several hours there was congestion between junction 1A A282 Crossways Boulevard and junction 1B A296 Princes Road Dartford, up to junction 29 A127, Romford.
All lanes have now been re-opened.
At one point journey times were estimated at between 40 and 45 minutes but traffic has now cleared.
