City end league season on a high

ROYSTON GOUGH hit four goals for the second game running as Canterbury City rounded off their British Energy Kent County League Division 2 East campaign with an 8-2 success at Borden Village on Saturday.

It took the champions’ tally to 105 for the season, as they wrapped up their 14th successive win, with Gough’s total to 40, 24 of them in the last eight games.

Young sub Adam Woollcott struck twice, with Le eAustin and Dave Reed were City's other marksmen.
